The book studies graffiti as a typography form. How does it communicate its intention and how it has change through the decades in Monterrey.

Research began in Museo de Arte Contemporaneo in Monterrey (MARCO) while it held an enhibition talking about the origins of Graffiti in the 80’s in Monterrey. This exhibition was called Cumbia y Apañe.

Each decade became a new section in the book, marked with a handmade die-cut and pictures taken while researching.
