Lowriders as symbols of Hispanic identity. The post-war era saw an increase in disposable income, which allowed young Mexican Americans to purchase second-hand cars. However, rather than seeking speed or performance, they sought aesthetic modifications that reflected personal and communal identity. The stamps follow the US Postal Service Forever Stamps guidelines.

This project allowed me to look at my own culture from a new perspective. I was able to find intersecions that are usually not highlighted and use them to bring light to multiple groups of people.I also learned the importance of scale and size of designs. I enjoyed the final result, however I believe for future iterations it could be more effective as a shirt or even a poster due to the amount of details.Overall, I learned a lot during the making of stickers, the use of paper, and the size of the objects.
